Join the Director of Momenta Workshops (www.momentaworkshops.com) as we discuss documentary travel photography! Jamie Rose will lead us on a visual presentation with lively narrative on how to transition your photos from “travel shots” to “documentary travel images.” If you’ve ever wanted to take your imagery to the next level, this is going to be a must-attend event.
With images from Burma, India, Uganda, South Africa, Vietnam and the United States, Jamie will discuss some of the starting skills for documentary travel work and how to add verve and life to your travel work.
We will cover a number of topics throughout the discussion, see images from Jamie’s personal body of work and the photographers from Momenta Workshops as well as answer questions such as:
– How do I approach strangers and ask to make a photo?
– Should I pay people to make a photo of them?

Jamie’s Bio:
Jamie Rose is an international documentary photographer and a senior partner at Momenta Group LLC. Jamie leads the Momenta Workshops division of the company and leads the Visuals Team for Momenta Creative. Her work takes her all around the world with our Workshops division and she has been teaching photography for over a decade. Her specialization is in humanitarian and medical documentary photography. However, she is regularly requested by our specialty clients such as the European Union, Valve Software and SAP for her keen eye and fun-loving style.
